After spending several years among the elite of the financial world, Marek Tichý decided to switch gears—he traded his successful career in established corporations for his own consultant company, which he built from scratch. With Invisory, he and his team have managed to create a strong player in the Czech corporate finance market in just a couple of years. Last year, he focused his energy on a new project—the start-up Nettino. He chose the inspiring myhive Flexi Offices as the workplace of his ambitious financiers.
Invisory offer their clients corporate financing services, whether related to the purchase and sale of companies or transformation processes. “We’re not just corporate realtors, though” explains Founder Marek Tichý. His clients can take advantage of services with a high added value: not just consultation during M&As, but also during transactions, business valuations, and financial modelling.
“This business stands on long-term relationships and on the trust of owners, who need to believe that you’re the right person to maximize the valuation of their company,” says Tichý, who previously headed the corporate finance department at Raiffeisenbank. “Every year, we conclude four to five large transactions, which places us among the top consulting firms in the Czech Republic,” he adds.
M&A transactions are often a complex and lengthy process, which is why the partners decided to expand their services and use their specific know-how in the new Nettino digital platform to help manage the finances of small and mid-sized companies. “There are already applications on the market that digitize these processes. The added value of Nettino is the input analysis by our experts, who look at the raw accounting data,” states Tichý. In his estimation, most companies see accounting as a necessary evil imposed by law. “And so they often aren’t as effective as they could be. We can offer them a comprehensive overview of their corporate performance and digitally set up control mechanisms that will increase efficiency.”
They were equally effective in their selection of the right space to develop their business. “We wanted to stay in the same location, where we already have established personal ties. Although most of our meetings are held at our clients’ offices, it’s important for us to be in an office environment that provides inspiration and a civil atmosphere. And we found all of this at myhive Flexi Offices,” sums up Marek Tichý, founder of both companies.
